My hope for any retreat is the experience of immersion and connection to culture, people and nature, in ways that respect the people and land. Moving forward with a retreat to Morocco following this administration’s decision no longer feels aligned with this work and intention, and I’m not willing to move forward in any way that could be exploitative.

For the time being, I will be taking space to reimagine the framework of my retreat offerings. In the U.S., on the micro and macro level, we have a lot of work to do. I'm hoping to offer special immersions where Yoga is in action, and giving, creating and community make up the majority of the experience.
